GUEST KITCHENETTE

The kitchenette is adjacent to the upstairs lounge and is available for use by guests in all upstairs suites. It has has a full-sized fridge, microwave, toasted sandwich maker,tea and coffee facilities including award-winning locally roasted coffee, plungers and a coffee pod machine, mugs, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery, as well as a complimentary homemade treat to enjoy.

There is filtered water, ice in the freezer and an iron and ironing board. If you bring your own snacks, you’ll find platters and wine glasses to serve them.

DOWNSTAIRS FORMAL LOUNGE

The downstairs formal lounge room is a space guests gravitate towards when looking for a quiet time to read or catch up with emails or have a private conversation.

UPSTAIRS LOUNGE

The upstairs guest lounge is available for guests in all upstairs suites and offers a social hub, with lounge chairs, table, chairs, chess and other board games, DVD library, TV with Netflix, free book exchange and complimentary port.

PENGHANA’S GARDEN

In summer choose one of our outdoor spaces, grab a cushion, your camera and enjoy the colour of sun set on the mountains, the bird life, our ever-changing seasonal flowers and the peace and quiet Penghana offers. Enjoy a cool drink, a wine or a coffee and solitude or time together with your friends or loved one.

For those who want just a little more activity and some competition, we also have croquet and bocce sets.

There is a large gas BBQ and outdoor dining area available for guest use

Penghana’s wine bar offers Tasmanian wines, craft beers and even Penghana’s own house wines.

FREE HIGH SPEED WI-FI

High speed Wi-Fi is available throughout Penghana, including in all accommodation suites and shared areas.

ESPRESSO COFFEE

Guests can now enjoy a freshly brewed espresso coffee, in drink-in or take-away cups to enjoy on the road, available from our wine bar.

GYM EQUIPMENT

Penghana Bed and Breakfast now offers its guests the use of some pretty fancy exercise equipment, including a cross-trainer, recumbent bike and running or jogging machine.

BUSINESS FACILITIES

All of our guest suites are equipped with high speed wifi, a desk and chair, creating an appropriate workspace. With prior notice and given availability, we can also provide a private meeting room for business travellers.

PARKING

Penghana has ample safe, free onsite parking and undercover space to safely accommodate motor bikes and bicycles.

MOUNTAIN BIKES

We have added a secure storage and work area for mountain bikes.

ELECTRIC VEHICLES

There is a public charging station in the car park which services the Wilderness Railway. At Penghana we have an outdoor power point available for overnight charging of guests’ electric cars
