Penghana offers sumptuous hosted accommodation in one of Tasmania’s most historic stately mansions. It is an ideal base for discerning independent travellers who want to engage with the history, environment and culture of Tasmania’s West Coast and enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday, business trip or small group event.
Overlooking Queenstown on the rugged West Coast of Tasmania, Penghana Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base to discover Tasmania’s Western Wilderness, including Cradle Mountain, Strahan and Lake St Clair.
This 1898 National Trust property offers rich history, old world hospitality, the elegance and silver service of late nineteenth and early twentieth century living combined with today’s creature comforts and the little extras we add as part of our service.
The various spaces to relax in at Penghana also make this venue attractive for small conferences and group getaways. Become absorbed in the house’s rich history, photographic displays and all the other treasures it has to offer.
Our mission is to make every guest’s stay ‘just perfect’ in every way.
